Clipso St Albans owner Simon Cox has teamed up with award winning Scottish hairdresser Charlie Miller and the Teenage Cancer Trust to style wigs for young female cancer sufferers.

Charlie Miller recently visited the St Albans salon, where he spent the day demonstrating how wigs can be altered and styled to give young patients a natural looking style. The salon now provides a complimentary wig cutting service for 13-24 year old cancer patients which will run along side the adult service which the salon already provides.

“It was great to have Charlie visit the salon and present a wig cutting demonstration; he’s fantastic to work with. I think it’s great that we can offer this free service at the salon, the thought of losing your hair is tough enough to deal with at any age but especially when you’re a teenage girl. I’m so pleased that I can offer this service to young people suffering from this terrible illness,” say owner Simon Cox.
